In this post, we’re sharing seven spring cleaning tasks to refresh your Airbnb from top to bottom—plus tips for how to prep, what tools you’ll need, and why this isn’t a job you can squeeze into a standard turnover.

1. Refresh Living & Sleeping Spaces

Start with the basics:

• Wash mattress and pillow protectors—yes, the actual protectors, not just the sheets!
• Launder duvet inserts or swap for lightweight coverlets for warmer months.
• Deep clean carpets and area rugs (consider hiring professionals).
• Move furniture away from the walls and clean behind and underneath.
• Dust and wipe vents, baseboards, ceiling fans, and light fixtures.
