mike hicks
Michael has over 20 years experience in residential and commercial real estate ranging from single family homes, multi-family, commercial warehousing, and self storage. With just under 300 deals under his belt, Michael began his career in new construction and is still building homes today. Just a little differently. In 2016, Michael and wife Teah moved into short term rentals by converting one of their duplexes. They never looked back and began building unique short term rentals in 2020. Their homes have been viewed over 5 million times on various social media platforms, been featured in multiple magazines, and A & E’s Living Smaller TV Series. Sarah Karakaian
Our Details-Obsessed Operations Guru Whose Determination & Design-Savvy Took Her From Broadway to HGTV & Ultimately a Thriving Real Estate Business. Sarah purchased and operated her first Airbnb in 2012 in NYC. Not only did this rental quickly cover her mortgage payment, she actually made money in NYC, the most expensive real estate market in the country. Four short years later, Sarah turned her $475K NYC investment and sold that property as an operating Airbnb for $875K. To top it off, her STR designs caught the eye of HGTV, and she soon found herself flipping a short-term rental over 8 episodes on the network’s popular show Beach Flip! Sarah is a licensed real estate professional and property manager.

Our Professional People-Person Whose Business-Savvy Led Her From Food & Beverage Server to Multi-Million-Dollar Business Builder. Before Thanks for Visiting, Annette whipped a small, family-owned painting company into a well-oiled, tightly run business that eventually expanded into a franchise with locations in 22 cities across the US. Next, she partnered with an apparel company and by the time Annette was finished working her magic, the company had 5 retail locations, 120+ employees, and more than $40 million in sales.

Colleen Prochaska
Colleen brings over 10 years of hospitality experience as a hotel General Manager for Marriott and Hilton brands to Thanks for Visiting. With 500+ employees reporting to her, she achieved guest satisfaction accolades (#49 nationwide for overall service - DoubleTree brands, #16 nationwide for overall cleanliness - Courtyard brands), and delivered notable financial P&L successes. Her passion lies in supporting guests' experiences and mentoring associates throughout her career. Her philosophy entails equipping the team with tools, providing clear communication, and ensuring success for all.

Amy Corbett is the co-founder and CEO of All Belong Co, a growing Collective of 30+ short-term rentals (including a train caboose!) in 4 states. A self-described “accidental entrepreneur"...Amy’s thrilled to help fellow hosts and cohosts provide five-star hospitality and level up their businesses through HBMM!

Wendy Doris supports a property management operation in Scottsdale, Arizona, Mostess Host. With 10+ years of experience in the short-term rental space Wendy has had a tremendous amount of success in establishing efficient systems. By personally developing every aspect of her business model, she has created seamless operations to allow her the opportunity to focus on increasing revenue and profits. Specifically, Wendy has perfected the design of her listings. This isn’t limited to physical design in the space. She has studied listing design to optimize booking results.
